Elizabeth Heger Boyle’s former advisees are promoting human rights in every corner of the globe, showcasing the value of a Minnesota graduate education. Her students are international and local award winners, tenured professors, and effective advocates. They point to her mentoring and lifelong support in empowering them to overcome obstacles and make a difference. As an original faculty member in the Masters of Human Rights Program, Boyle is also a campus leader shaping graduate opportunities.

Scholars Walk is a prominent pathway spanning nearly 2,200 feet, celebrates the research and classroom accomplishments of the University of Minnesota’s award-winning faculty, alumni, and students. Gifted to the University by the University Gateway Corporation in 2006, Scholars Walk is lined with 40 bur oak trees, lighted monuments, and includes the Wall of Discovery, a 253-foot-long artistic tribute to the process that leads to great moments of discovery.
