Comparative Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Musculoskeletal Disorders

Casey Johnson's research aims to improve diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic approaches for musculoskeletal disorders that are associated with long-term pain and disability. His lab conducts comparative animal and human studies using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques to better understand and evaluate ischemic and degenerative joint disorders, with benefit to both human and veterinary medicine. Dr. Johnson collaborates with clinicians and research scientists across the Health Sciences to accomplish this interdisciplinary work.
